Florida Blue is a leading Jacksonville based health insurance company whose mission is To help people and communities achieve better health I held several roles in the Corporate Financial Accounting and Reporting department, which provided a wide range of experience and exposure to different aspects of corporate finance in healthcare. My final position involved working on a cross functional team of IT, Actuaries, and Corporate Accountants on the annual MLR reporting required by the Affordable Care Act. In addition, I coordinated two executive attestation and the attestation software implementation. The previous position I held was responsible for managing the bank reconciliation team and reviewing other Finance departments' Balance Sheet reconciliations.
