Experienced healthcare professional with a strong interest in building teams, providing excellent customer service, education and developing clinical skills. After graduating with a degree in occupational therapy in 1991 I gained experience in settings ranging from academical hospitals, school systems, home health, private clinics and hospitals. I became a certified hand therapist in 2000 and is proud to be part of a world certification program striving to provide the best possible care to patients. In 2012 I graduated with my MBA as I wanted to expand my business skills and improve my leadership skills. I am a lifelong student and continue to seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge base. I enjoy being involved in my community and participated in fundraising and volunteering for different causes such as relay for life, american heart foundation walk, multiple sclerosis bike ride, reading pals with united way, junior league winter haven, head start programs and ragnar relay for a cause. I am actively involved in the community and a graduate from haines city leadership class V and Polk Leadership class IX. I serve on the advisory board for Polk state college occupational therapy assistant and physical therapy assistant program.
