Belinda Tobin: Delivering confidence in corporate governance and communications. Belinda has dedicated her career to bringing clarity and confidence to her clients. After graduating from the esteemed University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce, Belinda embarked on a professional career in consultancy. She worked with the global all-rounder Accenture, where she assisted clients across Australia to implement major change programs. She was recognised as an excellent educator and mentor and selected to train international students on the United States campus. To gain experience with smaller organisations and across a greater variety of industries, Belinda became an independent consultant. She travelled nationwide, supporting clients in their business process and system transformations. Through this time, Belinda was drawn to the importance of governance and leadership in achieving successful change. To investigate this further, Belinda joined a boutique consultancy where she completed her MBA and became a trusted aid to boards and leadership teams in Australia, Israel, Malaysia, The United Kingdom, The United States and Russia. After a decade in consultancy, Belinda realised one important experience needed to be added to her resume: how clients actually enacted recommendations and roadmaps presented by consultants. She wanted to gain a deeper understanding of the realities and challenges of implementing change programs. To this end, Belinda joined the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads as Principal Advisor. Here, she implemented innovative programs that provided education and mentorship for the leadership team in governance, strategic management, compliance, compliments, risk and performance. Her strategic perspective and visionary approach were recognised, and she was rapidly promoted to Manager of Performance. Belinda has a natural affinity for communications and is a sought-after adviser for change projects. She continues to work with numerous local and international clients, delivering effective engagement and communication programs. She has been recognised by clients for her professionalism, integrity, dependability, and adaptability. Her empathetic nature, genuine concern, and ability to create partnerships have been instrumental in delivering positive and sustainable change for her clients.
