I have a broad experience in general project management in different areas : design, construction, sewerage, water treatment plants, nuclear waste disposal,...Currently I work as PPP/DBFM Manager Europe (Concessions & Assets) for BESIX Group, a multi-services Group active in more than 20 countries and operating in construction, concessions and real estate development. Between 2014 -2017, I was Director Division Buildings at Sweco Belgium, an interdisciplinary engineering, consulting and design firm.Between 2008-2014, I worked for BESIX as general bid manager, responsible for the preparation of complex tenders of large DBFM-projects in Belgium and the Netherlands such as schools, prisons, bus depots, court houses, ,..In the period 1999-2008, I was active in the nuclear waste sector studying the disposal of highly radioactive waste in deep clay layers. I was also general project leader for the low level waste surface disposal program in the municipalities in Mol / Dessel involving technical, scientific and social issues (stakeholder acceptance). Between 1993 and 2008, I worked for AIB-Vinçotte as technical manager/inspector for large construction works and sewerage installations and as a technical expert in civil engineering.Between 1986 and 1993, I performed different tasks for the Belgian army and worked among others for the Belgian army building agency and was also teacher at the construction department of the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.My main strong points are: project-oriented approach, efficiency, language skills, oral and written communication, diplomacy, people manager, team worker and group motivator.
