At Boston University, I'm a Presidential Scholar and Kilachand Honors college student obtaining a dual degree: Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy. My studies have led me down roads of researching poverty, climate change and political engagement. My intersectional approach to reporting with a focus on policy and investigations helped me obtain the NENPA Rising Star College Journalist of 2022. Currently, I'm using my background to inform a media startup, Wicked Smaht Comedy LLC. This part-networking space, part-production house venture is a media production company with a main deliverable of an intercollegiate comedy variety show that has a percentage of profits from each episode going toward a local Boston charity. Here, I am building a space that connects students across campuses while building and funding community. My work as CEO was recognized as one of BostInno's 25 under 25.
