I am a recent graduate in Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt interested in deepening my understanding of healing from a holistic and trauma-informed perspective. I am passionate about learning to work from the inside out to understand how systems of oppression impact our local and global communities. I have experience in working with children in many settings that come from many backgrounds. As an advocate for at-risk foster youth who have endured various forms of adversity, I believe all children deserve to be supported, uplifted and seen for their individual strengths. By understanding how generational and early trauma impacts a child’s ability to thrive, I believe that it is vital to support children who are especially at risk. I am passionate about expanding opportunity and resources for all. I am excited to continue the exploration of the many ways in which we can relieve the detrimental outcomes of early adversity.
