Production Assistant-Grant Funded Documentary FilmBoston Thurmond United Feb 2024 - May 2024Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United StatesI worked alongside three filmmakers to produce footage for a documentary surrounding the oral history of a neighborhood in Winston-Salem. As a production assistant, I kept track of filming dates, shot lists, and meeting notes for pre/post-production. I filtered through 20+ hours of footage by transcribing notes and pivotal themes via Adobe Premiere Pro. Additionally, I conducted supplemental research into businesses, economic history, and products to include during production. During filming, I assisted with interviews by controlling audio, setting up film equipment, and taking notes/outlines.
