I'm connecting researchers to technology that yields highly-reproducible, more predictive results for their cellular therapeutic development. We are surpassing affinity as a novel method to quantify total strength of interaction between two cells - providing a better correlation to in vivo efficacy. The strength of binding between an effector cell (NK, CAR-T, TCR) and target cell is the initiating event and driver of the future functions of that cell, with the subsequent signalling cascade resulting in activation, cytokine production, killing and expansion. Binding that is too strong can lead to activation-induced cell death or early exhaustion, while too weak a signal doesn't meet the activation threshold or give the proper survival signals needed for expansion.By encompassing this whole binding event, the z-Movi Cell Avidity Analyzer better correlates with in-vivo outcomes than traditional cell killing and EC50 assays, and separates even small differences between different CAR-T and TCR constructs.
