- Continuing the work on my summer projects, including an IRB protocol focused on menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and the global humanitarian workforce- Overseeing the story collection for Menstruation on the Move, a project bringing attention to the need for menstrual-friendly public toilets and infrastructure by collecting people's lived experiences menstruating while moving around New York City, Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Osaka, Manila, and Kampala- Supporting the Being Boys project aimed at collecting real puberty stories from boys in the USA that will be included in a boys puberty book

- Developing a literature review and IRB protocol for a qualitative research study focused on menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and the global humanitarian workforce- Collaborating on ongoing projects like the Menstrual-Friendly Public Toilet Toolkit, the Being Boys story collection, and organizing for Menstrual Hygiene Day, among other projects- Serving as the Teaching Assistant for the online course "Menstruation in a Global Context: Addressing Policy and Practice," interacting with learners from around the world, and reviewing scholarship applications for the verified track- Managing social media and communications needs among other administrative support as needed

- Collaborates with advisor (Lindsay Fram, MPH) and school staff to organize sexual health education program delivery at The School at Columbia for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade youth- Manages and supports the other GSE educators through teaching the lessons, navigating classroom management, and growing as sexual health educators- Educates children on a variety of sexual health topics as part of their health education curriculum

- Provides trauma-informed, confidential emotional and practical support to survivors of gender-based violence via an overnight helpline- Serves as a survivor advocate through providing accompaniments to the hospital, police station, and other resources as needed

- Organized a trauma-informed space empowering teenagers impacted by violence to organize advocacy efforts at their schools and in their communities- Assisted in building an annual anti-violence toolkit for local schools in partnership with our Prevention Coordinator- Participated in offering K-12 prevention education in local schools

- Conducted outreach to community partners for events, connected youth with their elected officials, an managed the nonprofit's social media platforms

- Managed the Executive Director's scheduling system, assisted with payroll, investigated human-centered approaches to overcoming employee retention challenges, and offered general support to the Executive Director as needed- Served as a Lead Mentor in local schools to provide social-emotional support to middle school youth

- Collaborated with our executive board to increase SAPA's voice and influence across campus, build relationships with other offices and organizations, and maintain an engaged and growing body of members - Co-created and conducted over twenty-five sexual assault prevention presentations in a two-year span - Managed the organization of over twenty events in a two-year span, including two Sexual Assault Awareness Months in April 2021 and 2022

PRODUCT is a student-run, online literary journal produced annually through the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi. Current submissions are open to Mississippi writers and artists. We publish poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and drama. We also feature the work of student visual artists. At Product, we love to see a variety of media intersect and represent the diverse creative voices at our university.

After being invited to enroll in Dr. Adam Clay's Introduction to Publishing graduate class, I was able to serve as an Assistant Editor for the Mississippi Review. As an Assistant Editor, I read through and voted on fiction, nonfiction, and poetry submissions with my peers, discussed each piece in depth with other editors, and assisted in the publishing process for the Summer 2022 issue. Mississippi Review was founded by Gordon Weaver in 1972 at the University of Southern Mississippi. Frederick Barthelme took over the editorial reigns in 1977 and along with managing editor Rie Fortenberry quickly turned Mississippi Review into a literary magazine of national acclaim. The duo ran Mississippi Review for over 30 years, consistently publishing issues that combined top-tier work with an innovative and eclectic design aesthetic. Raymond Carver, an early contributor to the magazine, once said that Mississippi Review "is one of the most remarkable and indispensable literary journals of our time." Well-known and established writers have appeared in the pages of the magazine, including Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winners, as well as new and emerging writers who have gone on to publish books and to receive awards. MR is now in its fifth decade, and while adapting to this up-and-coming generation of writers and readers, the magazine continues to publish writing that is offbeat and ahead of the curve under the editorship of Adam Clay, its current editor-in-chief.
