So this is where I tell you a bit about myself and my skills. Sounds easy, but after many revisions to the text, here it is…Working client side from 2009, I set up Cross Bay Marketing in 2016 to provide marketing support and training to businesses, charities and schools in the North West of England. You could say my strength is in seeing the ‘bigger picture’; embracing the 'quick wins' alongside long-term strategies. In 2018 I became an Enterprise Advisor at the Bay Leadership Academy in Morecambe. A voluntary role, I worked alongside the Careers Lead, Deputy Head and the students themselves to ensure they had a diverse mix of past pupils and local employers engaging with them. In the same year, I became a trainer with Digital Advantage, completing my first solo delivery in January 2019. A group of students typically aged between 13 and 18 are given 5 days to put their digital, creative and team skills to the test. Each group I've worked with have been engaged and uniquely talented, it's such a pleasure to work alongside them. September 2019 saw a fellow freelancer, Matthew Brown, and I organise a walk for people who wanted to connect outside of the typical 'networking restraints'. Walk~Flow aims to provide a place where people can 'get out of their own head, and into the great outdoors'.
