As Phi Mu Phi Nu DHRP, I ensure the safety and wellbeing of the sisters in my fraternity. This duty is a lot of work, yet it is worth it knowing I can help the people I care about the most. THis role has taught me how to communicate and educate my sisters on different topics when it comes to safety. I've also had to help organize safety plans for social events with my chapter. -As the Director of Harm Reduction and Prevention for this organization I oversee safety and well being for all members in the current chapter.-My role consists of ensuring members abide by rules set forth by Rutgers University. Through the semester I establish safety protocols prior to and during events to protect the wellbeing of all participants at these events.-Through the semester I do presentations and speeches related to myposition.

As a bartender at Source Farmhouse Brewery, the staff and I help bring an amazing experience to customers that enjoy our beverages. Located in Colts Neck New Jersey, we have a welcoming, family friendly biergarten for all to enjoy. -Interact with guests ensuring customer safety while providing excellent customer services.-One of my tasks is to be aware of what beers are on tap, as the tap listconstantly changes. With this I have to deliver the profile of these beers to customers when needed.-Maintain taproom cleanliness.

-This certificate course provided by Rutgers University through SEBS.-Learned the cultivation side of hemp, and how the harvest process works in and outside of the classroom.-I worked on a team project that experimented with soil amendments and was the team’s digital and visual designer.-This class allowed me to have a better insight on the plant, the industry, and certain policies around cannabis and hemp in New Jersey. By the end of the course I was certified in Hemp Cultivationand Post Harvesting.

In Phi Mu, DEI is valuable as that is what makes our chapter special. We strive to have a welcoming organization of those from all walks of life. Being in charge of this position for a semester truly was an honor, and I grew from this role. Not only did I become more educated, but I was able to help spread this knowledge as well.-AS DEI Chair, I promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within my fraternity and beyond. -I held different events promoting this ideas, one of them being for autism awareness. -I would would send announcements acknowledging different religious holidays to bring light to those who celebrate. -I also did presentations about how to be an ally for different minority groups.
