Helping others and solving problems through communication are passions of mine. Because of this, I can better assist in formulating new ways to go about issues that may arise. By developing collaboration and organizational skills, I obtained my Master of Professional Accountancy and hope to become certified in public accounting.During my years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I obtained and participated in jobs with a strong emphasis on customer service. While working closely with college students in a tutoring position for a college algebra class, I made use of the verbal communication and organizational skills necessary for my career plan in accounting. Being a student shift supervisor at Starbucks introduced me to a fast-paced environment that has aided in strengthening the decision-making skills I will utilize daily in my career. Although my job experiences are different at their cores, they allowed me to connect with people and learn to adapt to different situations.As my career evolves, I hope to obtain more diverse job opportunities that allow me to interact with different people and solve new problems. In doing so, I also aim to acquire skills applicable to my career as it progresses.
