As an Outreach Assistant, I attend community booths, events, and activities to enhance the communities’ knowledge of sustainability in San Diego County. My duty as an OA is to educate the public on San Diego’s zero waste efforts, waste recovery, organics recycling and watershed protection. I actively work on updating our database for our Hotline, while also working with the County of San Diego to conduct waste assessments for SB1383.

I led and orchestrated a bimonthly field trip to Yosemite National Park which required extensive planning and preparations.
