Charismatically educates the public on San Diego Brewcycling Collaborative's efforts to divert brewery waste from landfills.

As an Outreach Assistant, I attend community booths, events, and activities to enhance the communities’ knowledge of sustainability in San Diego County. My duty as an OA is to educate the public on San Diego’s zero waste efforts, waste recovery, organics recycling and watershed protection. I actively work on updating our database for our Hotline, while also working with the County of San Diego to conduct waste assessments for SB1383.

Showcased the beauty of creation to kids and young adults by constructing a multi-faceted curriculum to educate campers of all different ages and backgrounds. I led and orchestrated a bimonthly field trip to Yosemite National Park which required extensive planning and preparations. I was also a rotating counselor for girls of all ages which sharpened my conflict management and communication skills.

During my time as a student senator, I collaborated with my committee to orchestrate events on campus to promote sustainable living among college students. I also met with PLNU faculty and administration to discuss current sustainability efforts on campus, and how I can best steward PLNU as a student leader to continue their progress.
