Supervises maintenance and operations of light, medium, and heavy wheeled vehicle assets. Schedules operator and intermediate level maintenance for equipment, and supervises requisitioning, receipt, and application of repair parts for over 208 principle end items. Possesses thorough understanding of maintenance management and Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps, to include maintenance and supply orders and directives. Provides technical training and evaluation of over 105 assigned maintenance and operations personnel. Ensures strict quality control procedures are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures. Also served as the Port Handling Inland Transportation Chief, spearheading the planning and execution in the deployment and redeployment of over 1,400 short tons of tactical equipment in support of four major pacific theater bi-lateral exercises in the Republic of Thailand, Philippines, Republic of Korea, and Japan. Maintained strict accountability of equipment throughout contracted commercial air, ground, and naval shipping modes of transportation. This included planning, coordinating, contracting, and supervising all commercial lift and Material Handling Equipment throughout several training areas throughout each area of operation. Implemented cost saving methods while consolidating movement and logistical seaport requirements resulting in savings exceeding $150,000 in transportation costs.
