Tasmanian Winner & National Finalist, AgriFutures Rural Women's Award & Telstra Business Award | Founder & Managing Director, Left FieldAs a bold advocate for positive change in the agricultural industry, I lead Left Field, Australia’s first socially responsible labour hire, specialising in agriculture. My passion lies in creating innovative workforce solutions that uplift both local communities and international workers, such as those participating in the PALM scheme. Through initiatives like our Farm Work Loop, we provide seamless job continuity, skill development, and cultural exchange opportunities for workers, while also supporting farmers in achieving a stable, skilled workforce. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we launched The Welcome Home Project. This initiative reflects our belief that home is more than a physical space, it’s a feeling of trust, safety, and belonging. The project provides disengaged workers with the support they need to reconnect and rebuild. By ensuring fair wages, safe accommodation, and healthcare guidance, we create an environment where every worker is treated with dignity and their voices are heard. The Welcome Home Project offers more than just a second chance, it’s a promise of security, respect, and opportunity, helping workers regain stability and growth.Driven by a vision of inclusive growth, my journey began with a deep respect for farmers and a belief in the untapped potential of agricultural careers. Over the years, Left Field has grown from a local Devonport family business into a national company with international partnerships, continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in agriculture. In addition to my work at Left Field, I am the Tasmanian Winner and National Finalist for the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award, a recognition of my efforts in driving cultural and economic change in this 'unchangeable' industry. Through keynote talks and workshops, I share insights on leadership, resilience, and fostering growth, both in business and in life.I believe that meaningful progress requires patience, growth, and the courage to challenge norms, and I am proud to lead a company that embodies these values.
