In recent years, I have been hosting exchange students, an experience that has transformed my life. Hosting has fostered cultural exchange, meaningful friendships, and lifelong memories. Inspired by this journey, I took on the role of Area Representative for the exchange student program. In my first year, I exceeded my goals, earning a free trip to Scotland. This opened new opportunities for me, and I now seek to advocate for young adults, help communities grow, and support young people in achieving their dreams.I moved to East Lansing, Michigan 30 years ago and have always been passionate about growing a solid community around MSU campus. My initial home search was frustrating, but also fun and interesting. My first home has since become a rental investment property, and 12 years ago, I built my own home in Okemos, Michigan. The process of building a home was both challenging and rewarding, from deciding on a budget, and understanding the differences between buying and building, to choosing the best loan type. I love my home, which has now increased by about $300K in equity.Because of my enthusiasm for real estate, I got my real estate license 12 years ago. This allows me to do what I love while helping others find value in their real estate needs. I can help with buying, selling, or investing in residential or commercial properties in Michigan.Additionally, I've been a dedicated water polo mom for my three sons, organizing team trips, events, and logistics. Together with my husband, we've taken on videography and photography for their water polo games, capturing special moments. Watching my children and exchange students grow through sports, build bonds, and develop as student-athletes has been one of my proudest accomplishments and an ongoing passion.
