I serve as a Solutions Architect for two business areas. Under the PMO an Process Excellence Team I am responsible for the planning and architecture of all SharePoint and BPM solutions. This has included developing and implementing enterprise SharePoint Governance programs as well as migrating the Corporate, Retail and Associate Service Intranets from IBM WebSphere to SharePoint 2010. Under this team, I am currently working on a special project for VP of Corporate Communications to deploy Enterprise Social utilizing SharePoint, Lync, Office365 and Yammer.Also working with the PMO and Process Excellence office, I led a team to re-engineer the Supplier On boarding business process. The goal of the project was to make it easier for our suppliers to do business with our company and to reduce the overall cycle times in the process while improving the technology platforms used to manage the control the process. In addition, I am responsible for business processes related to Security Access Requests, Vendor-On Boarding, and Gross Profits. I also lead a project to implement standardized BPM methodology, governance, and adoption for the organization. Working with Marketing and Sales Leadership we have successfully migrated the store loyalty program kiosks to a more flexible and secure SharePoint platform. We are also implementing a strategy to migrate all legacy batch data transfers to a web services layer to pave the way for a unified digital marketing approach that will leverage kiosk, mobile, e-coupon, and web sales and marketing channels. Currently I am also working on a project to move the public web presence to a cloud infrastructure platform to reduce hosing costs, operational overhead, and solution complexity.As a special service to the VP of Applications, I worked to develop and model and road map to build a new service delivery model that focuses on targeted business customer engagement and building quality-driven matrix model project teams.

Sole Solutions Architect for the 2,000 employee Service Organization and Primary Solutions Architect for Corporate Communications and Executive Management Team at Florida Blue. I was responsible for planning and building solutions based on the SharePoint platform to solve business challenges. The challenges included migrating the corporate Intranet to SharePoint 2010, producing a weekly communication blog for the CEO, developing a document collaboration and approval solution for all board communications, and implementing a PTO approval and tracking solution for the Service Organization.I departed Florida Blue to seek a better opportunity that allowed me focus on solutions that were not solely based on SharePoint technologies.

I served as the IS Operations Director at the St. Joe Company. Managed a staff of 7 highly skilled IS Engineers, in addition to Service Desk and GIS during a difficult time of company restructuring. I performed functions as Security Officer for compliance and information security issues and was responsible for all SOX 404 controls. Working closely with the Project Management Office I lead my team to complete several large and complex technology projects including data center relocation and infrastructure consolidation, migration to cloud-based application and infrastructure systems, and facility revocations . I managed a multi-million dollar operational budget on top of all capital projects as well as managed all vendor relationships. My team lead all R&D efforts to find new technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce IS expense. I reported directly to the VP of IS. I decided to depart from St. Joe when they relocated their corporate offices to Panama City Beach FL. This was largely due to the the fact I had local family obligations that prevented the transition.

I served as a Network Architect for the Solutions group. I was responsible for designing a new highly available corporate DMZ using clustered firewalls, core switches, and HIDS, NIDS integration. I worked with Management to develop a new service delivery model to maximize the operational effectiveness of the team and provide for cross training and mentoring programs. I also was lead on a storage consolidation project which brought in new SAN technology to provide for better application performance and business continuity.

Served as a Lead Consultant with the premier Microsoft Gold Partner for Southeastern US region. Key projects included:I lead a large-scale, 3,500 seat project for national educational financing business to converge Netware and NT environments to unified corporate Active Directory with Exchange 2003, which allowed the customer to reduce administrative overhead, and positioned them to implement new technologies to improve efficiency and collaboration.I designed highly redundant and highly available secure enterprise messaging and collaboration solution utilizing Microsoft Exchange 2003, iSCSI SAN, and ISA 2004 to provide a large North Florida school district with integrated collaboration abilities while meeting strict SLAsDesigned and migrated large design-build company’s NT infrastructure to secure Active Directory and Exchange 2003 allowing them to streamline IT operations and provide a centralized unified directory for account provisioningIn addition to the project work I also performed various customer-driven interactive sales presentations to demonstrate Microsoft and core partner technologies in private and public sector arenas, resulting in new customer leads to expand the infrastructure and security practice

I was a Senior Consultant with the premier Symantec enterprise security partner for the Western US region. Key projects included:I utilized a variety of security auditing tools to complete vulnerability assessments, including wireless network access, for large financial and educational organizations in Northern California and Nevada I lead project teams to successfully migrate existing NT and Novell environments to Windows 2000 Active Directory with Exchange 2000 messaging. Utilized Microsoft and NetIQ products to complete migrations efficiently and under fiscal budget restrictions

I was an Information Technology Network Engineer for start-up Internet e-commerce ASP formed by Intel and SAPWhile and Pandesic I designed and Implemented LAN and WAN infrastructure for data center and satellite offices in California.Utilizing MS Exchange Server and IIS, I implemented secure web access email portal for remote sales forcePandesic did not remain solvent and I was retained during company closure to gracefully wind down IT operations resulting in maintaining customer commitments without the cost of operating unnecessary systems

Coming out of some other local business opportunities, including a personal financial planning office and the California Dental Association, Packard Bell was my first introduction to corporate IT. I was promoted rapidly from Desktop Support to WAN Administrator. While at Packard Bell I completed the following key projects:Traveled across North America and Canada installing new e-mail infrastructure using MS Exchange Server and Outlook replacing legacy MS Mail and CC Mail installationsMember of task force responsible for integration of Packard Bell and NEC systemsImplemented secure web mail services for remote employees.Worked on deployment and configuration of SMS to manage Windows systems and deploy packages.I departed Packard Bell shortly after the merger with NEC.
