Current• Successfully increased the productivity by 186% for the last export season.•Direct and coordinate daily operations at the fumigation chamber and agriculture depot.• Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department. • Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times• Screen, train and manage the onboarding process of new hires• Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order• Coordinate plant activities through planning with departments’ managers to ensure the total facility objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.• Manage capital asset maintenance.• Establish and monitor overall facility performance for production and quality standards.• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.• Demonstrate leadership, communication proficiency, decision making, problem solving and financial management• Collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes. • Ensure that all process line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilitiesand customer requirements.• Create documentation protocols and ensure that all operations records are properly maintained and reviewed• Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives• Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and supply management
