As a contractor with a major financial institution I worked towards upgrading a mission critical trading platform. This includes upgrading java beans to rest services, conversion to React front end technology and performance upgrades. Microservice development included Java 8,17,18, Spring Boot 2 & 3, MongoDB, DB2. Integration test suites developed using Cucumber, RestAssured. CICD pipelines using Helm, Jenkins, Cloud Bees, Coverity, Artifactory. Front-end solutions in React using VSCode.

With an internationally recognized leader in the amusement field I was responsible for development of various software programs and applications which include web services, front end SPA development in jQuery/Javascript and a webSockets Windows service with active socket listening and queuing/processing of messages. Analyzed various database needs and designed schema for enterprise critical initiatives. I was responsible for designing and building the entire supporting architecture and the administration (both Apple and Android) for a suite of mobile applications. These applications provide functionality to a global customer base. This development included the design and implementation of the database schema, and all procedures. Built a series of web services in WebAPI that use OAuth and JWT technologies to facilitate the JSON data flow to and from appropriate data centers located worldwide. This coding also interfaced with various external APIs such as Google (Firebase) Cloud messaging system and multiple online payment processors such as Authorize.net.Attended training for Xamarin mobile development. Developed added features and bug fixes for an Inventory management mobile application with Xamarin in VS 2019. Oversaw the onboarding of various junior developers by sharing of company development standards and architecture design. Took a lead role as liaison to a global customer base for integration efforts with various Intercard APIs.

With a regional bank's corporate IT team was responsible for designing, coding, testing, analyzing and coordinating the development of software programs and applications; up to and including research, design, documentation and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Analyzed various data flow scenarios and designed SSIS solutions for them. Coded applications in Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. Attended training for responsive design using CSS3 and HTML5. Provided screen size responsive solutions for several applications. Integrated mapping functionality with a client side solution using jQuery, JSON, javascript and HTML.

Develop value added functionality to high traffic health care web site using asp.net writing code in C#, java, javascript, jQuery and more. Ported the member site from classic ASP to .net. Coded the site to allow custom styling to be applied on a client by client basis. Developed various admin tools to manage and administer site users, style sheet parameters etc. Perform various SQL Server tasks as needed such as database creation, table, index and stored procedure creation. Coded various SSO functionality with partner sites using SAML1 and SAML2.

With an auto lease company I was responsible for a variety of project tasks delivering a completely new application tied to virtually all aspects of the company. Created stored procedures, COM objects and worked on Visual Basic 6 GUI work. Was responsible for all of the stored procedures that book a lease during lease initialization. This comprised a total of 15 nested stored procedures and thousands of lines of TRANSACT-SQL code.As a member of a small team working at Anheuser Busch delivered two separate web based intranet applications. The first tracked issues within the company and the second tracked and reported on computer related assets. Provided middle tier COM objects as well as created web pages with ASP and HTML and JavaScript. As a member of a medium sized team at Cass Information Systems, a freight/utility billing services company, worked in all aspects of system design for their web based customer support and reporting extranet application. Designed many web pages with ASP, JavaScript and HTML, created middle tier COM objects and wrote stored procedures.

At Blue Cross Blue Shield took over ownership of an Access / SQL Server application that provided performance data reporting and retrieval for the Program Management office. Developed stored procedures and Visual Basic code to functionally enhance application. Analyzed common user problems and designed enhancements to circumvent them. Prepared technical design documents. Authored technical documentation of system operation and maintenance. Administered the SQL Server production and development databases. As a member of a performance team at Alltel, a major Telecommunications company, analyzed online data access modules written in C, SQR Reports and UNIX asynchronous batch processes for performance enhancements. Redesigned, coded, and tested modules to execute within goal times at five million accounts. Provided extensive documentation of the enhancement and testing process. In another role at the same client, altered server code in C to isolate embedded SQL into separate functions. The new modules were built and tested for complete data access coverage. Additional tasks included UNIX shell scripting, PERL scripting, and the manipulation of the system architecture and SYBASE distributed database to facilitate testing.
