Experienced business school professor (Professor of Marketing) with experience in the UK and Australia. Currently Associate Dean for Global Engagement and Recruitment (Kent Business School), responsible for the development and implementation of the School's Global Engagement and Recruitment strategy. Previously Head of the Marketing Group (also at Kent Business School) for a number of years and have also taken on other leadership roles within the School (e.g., Interim Director of Education, Programme Director for the MSc in Marketing and the MSc in Management, Academic Lead for the Periodic Programme Review). Research interests are based around consumer behaviour, specifically with respect to consumer adoption of innovations, introductory pricing and promotional strategies and social marketing. Research interests cut across contexts, including autonomous vehicles and automated technologies, food and mobile health technologies, technology adoption in “bottom-of-the-pyramid” markets and social innovations.Have taught across the marketing curriculum in the UK, Europe and Australia, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, co-authored a best-selling book in the area of marketing research (https://www.cengage.co.uk/books/9780170438964/) which is in its fifth edition and have won awards for teaching and education.
