I started my hospitality career in the hotel industry seven years ago and before working in hotels I explored my options within the hospitality industry, starting with catering, fundraising, and wedding planning. I began working in the hotel industry back in 2016 as a front desk host/concierge. Since then I grew to love the operations side of hotels which ultimately lead me to hold the position as Operations Manager. What's amazing about my journey in the hotel industry is all the hotels I have worked for were once Joie de Virve properties, sister properties actually and I am proud to say I have had the liberty to work for them and see how wonderful each hotel was in their own unique way. Thanks to my hotel management experience I have been blessed to start my new path with a different hotel brand, Marriott. As the Duel Operations Manager I am looking forward to learning and experiencing new opportunities. Since working with Marriott I have learned so much about not only the company and the brand, but about myself as a person and a manager. I graduated from San Francisco State Five years ago with my Bachelors of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Once I graduated I couldn't wait to find my passion within the hospitality industry, which eventually would lead me to my career. Working in operations has been an eye opener for me in a way that is both rewarding and challenging. If there is one thing in life I have learned it's to follow your heart and believe in yourself, even when the times are hard. "It's not worth having if you don't have to fight for it!"I'm a California native and a cat mom. My cat's name is Oliver, I adopted him almost nine years ago from Arf in Walnut Creek. Since having him in my life I feel that he was the one who rescued me! In my spare time I love to read, cook, go on hikes, workout at the gym, cheer on the Giants at Oracle Park, and try out new restaurants. I love to vacation in Carmel and Monterey. Every chance I get I go to the beach to enjoy the sound of the waves, smell the salty air and feel my toes in the sand. Although going to the beach is relaxing I do enjoy bringing out my child side when I'm at Disneyland!
