I was part of the Organizational Structure & Human Resources (OSHR) Team. We were tasked with:- Creating a full organizational structure for the client (including present & future roles and descriptions)- Creating a complete Onboarding/Hiring Process for the client (Part-Time workers and contract workers)- Developing a formal process and funnel for collaborations with influencers and celebrities- Reviewing financial statements and recommend cost-reallocation measures to improve cash-flow-Submitting bi-weekly reports on any and all new findings, insights and recommendations for the clientBusiness Concept: This aspect of the internship involved creating and developing a business concept according to a need we identified in our own local communities. This project involved conducting thorough market analysis, thinking through different relevant stakeholders, developing a budget/pro-forma statement of startup costs for the business, thinking about social impact as a part of the idea, and much more. We also had access to advisors guiding us through the fundamental aspects needed for a startup/small business. Furthermore, external entrepreneurial speakers and other guests were invited to share their advice and experience, a great deal of which proved to be invaluable for the business concept as well as being a great networking opportunity.
