As passionate adult educator, I strive to develop in-person and online resources that reflect the day to day experiences of learners. Regardless of content, I’m passionate about creating learning environments and opportunities that reflect the needs of all involved and that are presented in an engaging and experiential way. Currently, I manage a team of staff to provide a variety of accommodations while maintaining academic integrity. Working one-on-one with professionals, I coach writers to present their ideas clearly and concisely. In particular, I focus on the accessibility of ideas to all audiences, specifically non-experts. Along with visual design, I ensure that presenters connect with the audiences and convey their passion for the material.Research informs my practice, highlighting new and emerging strategies in the field of knowledge translation. I constantly assess the impact of my projects: conducting needs assessment, tracking usage, analyzing participant satisfaction, and measuring long-term learning outcomes.
