Its main products were connectivity (Bluetooth), audio, imaging and location chips.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the Windows and Network Infrastructure of CSR’s Global offices. Responsibilities included:• Deploy and manage all network hardware and equipment, including Cisco routers, switches and hubs.• Deploy, manage and ensure effectiveness of Windows servers, including e-mail, print, management and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software.• Manage security solutions, including Checkpoint firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.• Perform network design and capacity planning.• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.• Designing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans to make certain infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.• Network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.• Working with the Technical Architect on key systems projects from design to implementation for the latest technologies.• Perform server and security audits.• Monitor and test network performance, provide network performance statistics & reports.• Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team including supervising of work and projects.• 3rd line support of Network, Servers and Firewall (remote access) solutionsSenior Technical Analyst and Architect responsible for Global Infrastructure Systems, including:Cisco Network (LAN's)Verizon PIP WAN (MPLS)VMware ESX FarmsCheckPoint FirewallsMicrosoft Exchange ServerWindows Servers and ApplicationsGlobal Infrastructure Monitoring
