I shadowed the franchisee of eleven different Jiffy Lube locations across the Chicagoland area. I learned about the day-to-day lifestyle of a franchise owner, which included tapping into important conversations between the owner and next-in-command(s), utilizing financial documents, and meeting other regional franchisees. As part of this job, I learned the information system and specifically analyzed delivery routes to improve productivity. I created a course that allowed up to 8 locations to be reached in the span of a workday, a significant improvement from the previous 5 to 6.
