During this time, I taught 28 sections of 13 different courses, in addition to developing a new course titled "Economic Regulation of Global Businesses".

During this time, I taught 33 sections of nine different courses, in addition to developing a new course titled "The Law & Economics of Canadian Business Strategy". I was also on several committees at the department, faculty and university level, including the POST Honours Committee of which I was the Coordinator.

I taught a course during the Spring 2009 session, in order to gain some additional teaching experience before commencing my position at MRU.

I taught seven sections of six different courses at this institution while I searched the academic market for a full-time position.

As a Senior Economist, I was the lead internal economist on several files involving the enforcement of the Abuse of Dominance, Criminal, and Mergers provisions of the Competition Act, particularly cases involving the Transportation and Natural Resources sectors of the economy. I was also a member of the policy-oriented Forestry and Transportation sector teams.Prior to being promoted to Senior Economist, I assisted the lead economists in cases involving retail booksellers (e.g., the Chapters/Indigo merger, http://www.ct-tc.gc.ca/CasesAffaires/CasesSearchResults-eng.asp) and predation in airline markets (e.g., Commissioner of Competition v. Air Canada, http://www.ct-tc.gc.ca/CasesAffaires/CasesSearchResults-eng.asp).

I worked as a research and/or teaching assistant for Doctors Douglas S. West, Andrew Eckert and Denise Young, as part of my graduate student funding package. During this time, I taught the weekly tutorial sessions for three sections of Dr. Eckert's ECON 505 (Microeconomic Theory II) course, which was a requirement for PhD students in the Economics and Business departments. I also taught the lab sessions for one section of Dr. Young's ECON 399 (Introductory Econometrics) course.

I worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Douglas S. West, while he was an economic expert for antitrust cases in Canada and Australia. My duties included searching for information from academic and non-academic sources, as well as conducting data analyses.

I was a Research Assistant for a physically challenged Executive MBA student through Bayshore Healthcare; during this period, this company was also called Gentiva Health Services and Olsten Health Services. I assisted this student with conducting research using physical and electronic sources, as well as typing his assignments and term papers. After his graduation, I continued to assist him after-hours at his place of employment.

I performed various day-to-day activities for Elections Ontario (Ottawa Centre riding) during the 1999 provincial election campaign, including acting as Deputy Returning Officer at an advance polling station.
