Working in the office of The Craven Herald & Pioneer, I wrote news, features and interviews for this local newspaper. I broke news stories on a range of topics including criminal and unethical business activity, and a feature on local mass participation event the Three Peaks Race. I toured Australia with a British band called the Blue Arsed Flies, playing at leading venues including The Espy and The Cornerhouse in Melbourne and a residency at Johno's Blues Bar in Cairns.
