An internship undertaken as part of my Life Unit at University. I had the opportunity to complete 80 hours of practical work experience. Tasks include:• Assisting the digital forensic examiners in their day to day tasks • Responding to clients via e-mail• Forensically documenting any cases the examiners needed help with• Backing up completed work to external hard drives.Skills learnt:• Basic understanding of ISO 17025 and ISO 27001• Use of forensic tools such as Cellebrite and UFED Physical analyser• Forensic practise of how to handle a phone (Bag numbers, seals etc.)• How to document a phone and prepare it to be examined by the digital forensics team.
