I worked as Primient’s Corporate Environmental Summer Intern, a top producer of food products, personal hygiene, and personal items through a process known as corn wet milling. I am proud to say that Primient is dedicated to sustainability in all facets of its operations. During this role, I worked on two major projects, forming a new corporate standardized SPCC document, inspection, and training, as well as a project regarding water management at Primient’s Decatur, IL plant. This role allowed me to see, learn, and understand all of the smaller parts of sustainability and how they can all have a positive impact on the environment as a whole.

I held a summer internship in environmental, health, and safety at a high-level international manufacturing company. In this role, I was part of US Farathane's corporate sustainability committee. I worked with programs and policies such as Eco Vadis, CDP, ISO14001, and US Farathanes internal environmental tracking and management systems. Along with the environmental side, I also worked in health and safety of employees on our plant floor.
