I am an accomplished and hands-on technology leader with deep experience that includes building Business Intelligence functions, managing teams and budgets, and extensive software development using a mix of .NET tools, cloud technologies, and front-end work in Angular. Since 2017 I have served as the Founder of CarePortfolio where I built a cloud-based Electronic Health Record application to end of life and elder care organizations. I also provide BI and technical consulting services to clients in the hospice industry. Prior to founding CarePortfolio I spent eight years with JourneyCare, a large nonprofit in the end-of-life care business that underwent explosive growth during my tenure. While at JourneyCare my focus changed from IT management to systems architecture and business intelligence, and I launched the firm's BI practice. Earlier in my career I held IT roles with a health center and Chicago Public Schools.I have a strong commitment to community and mission based organizations and offer extensive experience and knowledge of their unique needs.In addition to my experience, I hold an MS in Computer Science from University of Chicago where I also earned my BS in Biology.
