Ben was definitely working over and above his role, and i really hope he is rewarded/awarded with a role dedicated to transitioning, knowledge management and/or training of the service desk function. I would recommend Ben to any IT organisation, that is looking for a methodical, process driven, well rounded, Technically savvy Service desk manager or training/process manager, and as above, I would also recommend him as a transition/project coordinator within an Operational environment.
