Assist in all operations of the 123 room convention driven hotel. Works closely with the General Manager to ensure we meet all customer service and revenue levels. Consistently run high occupancy while maintaining a high Medallia rating. Named Manager of the Quarter in the Southeast Region for the fourth quarter 2011. Duties include staffing, training, scheduling, accounting, controlling food and beverage, budgeting, forecasting, and acting General Manager when General Manager is not present.

Oversaw all operations of the 220 room airport hotel. Worked closely with department heads in purchasing, budgeting, and scheduling labor. Aided in turning around an operation that posted losses in 2007 and 2008. Duties also included contract negotiations with outside vendors, training staff, and maintaining standards required by Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Responsible for ensuring the 1700 member club is pleased with the overall service of their events. Duties include handling any complaints, beverage management, and overseeing wait staff in day to day activities. Other responsibilities include: bar staffing, scheduling, and beverage inventory. Also work closely with the general manager, clubhouse manager, and executive chef to improve the overall service and food presentation at the club.

Responsible for ensuring guests are provided quality service prior to and throughout their stay. Other duties include handling guest disputes, concierge services and other hospitality issues for the 149 room property. Aided in organizing and rewriting operational standards after the $13 million conversion. Also a member of the safety committee. Employee of the month October 2006; nominated in December 2006 and April 2007.

London Programs Office; Responsibilities included facilitating and organizing students stay abroad while at the Samford London Study Center. Coordinated overseas events with students, parents and alumni. This also offered me the opportunity to travel and study international arts and theater throughout Europe in January, 2006.

Position helped to develop my operational and people skills. Organized and executed catering jobs. Earned SafeServ Certification in order to meet state regulations.

Assisted with Pro shop sales and marketing, course and cart maintenance, food preparation.
