As Associate Director of Admissions at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, I help coordinate the strategy and execution of admissions and enrollment for the full time MBA program, overseeing recruitment, yield optimization, marketing, and external partnerships. I aim to drive diversity initiatives, enhancing our applicant pool through strategic partnerships, and use data analytics to continually refine processes, improving yield and ensuring the enrollment of high-quality candidates. Additionally, I oversee key relationships with external organizations, further strengthening Haas' position as a leader in graduate business education.

In my role as Assistant Director of Admissions at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, I orchestrate the full lifecycle recruitment for three pre-professional master’s degrees, enrolling approximately 600 students annually. I manage the entire process from sourcing to advising candidates, providing strategic insights to guide them from initial contact through decision-making. I develop and execute diversity recruitment strategies, enhancing the diversity of our applicant pool through partnerships with internal stakeholders and external organizations. Leading a team of 45 Admissions Ambassadors, I oversee their recruitment, training, and professional development to ensure effective engagement with prospects and applicants. I coordinate 50 recruitment events each year, engaging around 4,200 prospects, and implement travel strategies for recruiting at undergraduate universities and metropolitan areas. Utilizing data analytics, I continuously refine our strategies to improve yield rates and maintain competitive admissions metrics. Additionally, I advise the FuquaPride student organization, supporting approximately 160 students across ten programs.

In my previous role, I read and assessed approximately 300 applications for admissions, presenting candidate evaluations and recommendations to the Admissions Committee. I led around 50 virtual information sessions and events for audiences of up to 180 prospective students, covering five different programs. Collaborating closely with the One-Year Masters and Executive MBA Admissions Teams, I contributed to the development of recruitment, marketing, and yield initiatives for programs enrolling a total of 850 students. Additionally, I worked with the Directors of these programs to manage priorities in file reading, event planning, correspondence, and overall team administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process.

As the school's point of contact, I engaged stakeholders and applicants, handling inquiries, advising prospective students, and synthesizing feedback for the Admissions Team leadership. I managed relationships with admissions stakeholders, including faculty, administrators, and partner school organizations, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Additionally, I conducted interviews with approximately 35 current students, providing recommendations for their selection as Admissions Fellows, further supporting the admissions process and enhancing the team’s engagement with the student body.
