Enrollment: 1,800 students, 300 employees•Identify, recommend, lead, monitor, and evaluate curricular and instructional initiatives to further student achievement•Develop, implement, and assess an overall district assessment program•Lead and chair groups, ad hoc committees, and task forces comprised of administrators, community members, teachers, staff, students, and members of the Board of Education•Demonstrate insight, knowledge, understanding, and skill when assisting in the recruitment and employment of instructional and coaching staff•Coordinate district-wide events and activities•Collaborate with building-level athletic directors on issues related to hiring, disciplining, training, mentoring, and evaluating coaches and athletic staff•Provide support to high school leadership in planning and execution of graduation ceremony•Proactively communicate with parents.
