Consequently, accuracy was essential.• Customer assistance – Waitrose has a customer help/enquiry desk and I was often required to assist customers with their shopping requirements, especially if they were elderly or disabled in any way.• End of day – Due to the hours I worked, I was often one of the last members of staff to leave and therefore assisted in the security procedures of closing the store.
