After a successful 12 year career as an advertising copywriter, working across all media disciplines in Australia, Singapore and New York, it was time to try my hand at other forms of writing and other industries. I became the general manager of a Vespa towed mobile billboard company, acquired new business for a printing company as a marketing manager and even did a stint as a journalist for a local paper. But what I really missed was coming up with ideas and creatively solving advertising problems. This was satisfied by various freelance gigs for advertising agencies, design companies and the like until I discovered the potential of the digital advertising realm. In 2010 I joined Kidspot, Australia's largest parenting website that boasts over 1.5 million unique browsers each month. Here I added online advertising, digital copywriting, editing online content, EDMs and online marketing to my skill set.
