I am a hardworking and dedicated individual. I take pride in doing my job right and efficiently. I can work alone in almost every situation but I enjoy working with others and coming together to accomplish our goals. I have learned in my job experience that working with others is key in most situations and with cooperation, can come some of the best results. I am very goal oriented and driven to finish anything I put my mind to. I have always, in some way, worked in service to the public. Whether it is serving customers in restaurants or coaching high school lacrosse and hopefully teaching them to be better men. My work experience has led me to be comfortable with being a leader and taking charge in situations. I was not always comfortable being a leader but I have grown more confident and experienced as a leader. Having a positive influence on others is something I strive for and I have been able to accomplish in my line of work and hope to carry that on throughout my future job opportunities. I can bring leadership and accountability to any workplace. Even though I have come to become more of a leader, I am able to follow directions well and will complete them to the best of my ability. My plans after graduation are to find a job with a police force or the DEA. I hope to impact society in a positive way and protect those who otherwise can't protect themselves. I am willing to move around in order to acquire a job in one of these fields and will be dedicated to the community wherever I end up.I am in my Junior year of college at CSU and my expected graduation date is May, 2018. My major is Sociology with a Criminal Justice focus, along with a minor in History. I have taken multiple courses in criminal justice and and the deviant and criminal behavior in society. I hope to be involved in a research project my senior year and/or an internship with the police department.
