As the CEO of Bristol Sport Foundation, I led a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who use sport and physical activity to transform lives and connect communities. With over 20 years experience in the sport and charity sector, I have founded and developed two multi award-winning charities and have a strong track record of innovation and programme design to promote and improve physical activity rates, physical and mental health, education and well-being.My core competencies include strategic thinking, innovation, leadership and management, negotiation and community development and use my experiences in sport, education and charity to develop multi-award winning sport and physical activity charities. I have a BSc in Industrial Design from Loughborough University and am a former professional sportsman (rugby), having played at Exeter Chiefs, Newport Gwent Dragons and Bristol Rugby. I am driven by a mission to use charity, sport and physical activity to inspire positive change, address societal inequalities and create opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities to live Active, Healthy and Happy lives.
