As a Social Studies Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), I strive to help students develop critical thinking, civic engagement, and cultural awareness through interactive and technology-enhanced learning. With a BA in History from Old Dominion University, I have over 15 years of experience in teaching various subjects, such as US History, Economics, and AP African American Studies, to diverse and inclusive student populations.I am also passionate about coaching basketball and fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. I have 15 years of experience in coaching basketball across 3 different states and classifications, ranging from small private to large public schools. 100% of my seniors have graduated from high school with quite a few continuing their careers at the collegiate level.
