Some examples of work I’ve done include: - An extensive database refactor and updated ETL process for a large health insurance company in Alabama- Designed and developed the AWS back-end (DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, etc) and mobile apps (iOS and Android) for a pre-launch, digital security startup- Designed and developed a tax tool for a non-profit that has been used by thousands of low-income taxpayers

Led development of major projects in collaboration with clients, designers, and account executives. Examples of such projects include a HIPAA compliant enrollment platform for one of the largest health insurance companies in Alabama, a web based workflow to replace the previously excel-based business processes for an event security firm with thousands of employees, a suite of blogs for a large industrial parts distributor with a CMS that integrated into their existing technology stack (an in-house, Java MVC framework), and a marketing site that showcased and listed technical specifications of products for a large screening manufacturer with a custom CMS.

I worked on a team that built products for Southeast Toyota Distributors, the world’s largest independent Toyota distributor. We focused on the consumer facing “southeast.buyatoyota.com” site but also built and maintained dealer-facing applications used to process leads, find and trade vehicles, order accessories and more. I worked in all areas of the codebase including the ETL pipeline, leads processing and delivery to dealers, secure processing of credit application leads, new features on the consumer site, and solved problems from inaccurate pricing of vehicles or missing inventory to cross-browser issues.

Developed and maintained websites and web apps for non-profits, and small and medium sized businesses. We focused on building thoroughly tested, cross-browser products with deeply considered user experience.
