Labour Relations Consultant - Team 4
Current• Interpretation and administration of collective agreements, City policies, and employment legislation.• Consulting with leadership and HR Clients on Employee performance management, corrective action including discipline, and attendance support.• Grievance and arbitration handling, as well as participation in Labour Relations Board activities, while applying dispute resolution strategies.• Effective relationship building with a wide variety of stakeholders, while developing and promoting strategic labour relations consultation and training.• Utilize sound judgement, tact, and discretion to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and make appropriate recommendations.• Support HRBPs and Operations clients with LR matters regarding employees under the IBEW Local 254 ECO, CUPE 37 & 709, and ATU 583 Collective Agreements.
