As Design engineer I create, manage, and execute all aspects involved in the concept, design and development of our product lines. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Working with the Creative Director, Creative Product Development Manager and other product development colleagues to concept and develop innovative, industry leading product.- Implementing the appropriate product development process from product conceptualization through the design process, effectively executing all design directives.- Independently developing concepts for product collections, in response to market and design trends and corporate product strategic vision.- In partnership with Creative Product Development Manager, effectively determine appropriate design resources and method of development for specific product design and marketing objectives.- Following through on detailed correspondence with excellent communication skills.- Leveraging knowledge of vendor capabilities and knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials to the advantage of the company.- Executing artwork and product development within established processes. Adherence to timelines and cost parameters.
