After four years of volunteering and serving as a dedicated Board Member, I am finally working for the local 501c3 charity that my grandparents founded in 1986. New Vista has been close to my heart for many years and I now have the privilege of working on large scale fundraisers, event creation & implementation, public awareness and marketing of our most righteous cause. I even serve as an informal spokesperson for local TV news interviews from time to time. I am blessed to serve as an awareness ambassador for New Vista.

I was the youngest Board Member (and third generation supporter) of the most amazing charity in town. My grandparents founded New Vista in 1986 for the intellectually challenged population of S. Nevada, specifically, their daughter (my Aunt) Dawn Marie Herrmann. When Dawn was born w/ Down Syndrome in 1966, people had a very different view of such people. In fact, my grandparents were told by doctors that "she [Dawn] wouldn't be a burden to them and they [the doctors] would institutionalize her"​....well needless to say, they didn't go for that and since then, New Vista's mission has been to empower and support our population. Today we are growing by leaps and bounds!

Marketing/Sales in Luxury High Rise Condo Industry. We are experts in saving our clients millions of dollars in both commercial and residential property damage claims. Our team services all types of mitigation, remediation and restoration needs both before and after damage strikes. "People & Property Matter" is our culture and we live it. I managed: sales of all luxury projects ranging in size/scope of work, business development of client base, client retention and marketing of our services both in person and via all main communication channels.

Began as the bartender for the ski resort's restaurant and then promoted to manager of the main bar at the base of the mountain (after only 2 weeks)! Amazing fun, awesome tips, fresh southwest powder to snowboard on, and living with best friends! Truly an epic winter...left here to exercise my mental strengths by joining Disaster Rescue.

After departing from RFR, I moved across the country to Vancouver B.C. to work for a "Green" Energy Fuel Cell company. Shortly after arriving the company shut down due to prototype issues not being funded and I was paid a severance to return home to North Carolina. This was a great opportunity and one I do not regret....many lessons were learned.

What an amazing position to begin my career! Roush Fenway Racing (what was Roush Racing while I worked there) was at one point the largest NASCAR racing team on the planet. RFR merged with the illustrious Fenway Sports Group (Boston Red Sox) to enlarge their vision in 2009. During my time there I was surrounded by amazing mentors and inspiring leaders such as Jack Roush. Our Sales Team was tasked with pursuing the highest dollar sports sponsorship deals in all of motorsports and did so while navigating the beginning of our country's worst recession since The Great Depression. I sold the 3rd largest sporting goods retailer into their first NASCAR sponsorship, which they renewed the following year for three times their initial investment. I also trained as a pit crew member briefly in order to bridge the gap between the shop and business development team.
