Ben has been the director of his own creative agency since 2010 and co-founded Carruthers Tanner in 2015.Graduating from Bath in 2000 he was immediately immersed in the rich media landscape at BBC Broadcasting House Bristol where he led the print design for a suite of new BBC brands. After moving on to commercial roles working for clients like Sky, 3 and Lloyds Bank he took up the position of Design Director at the highly regarded think tank, Futurelab – bringing his creative vision to their cutting edge approach to technology, innovation and learning before going on to set up his own creative studio.Since then Ben's passion for innovation, research and a lifelong love of the ocean has led to an intense desire to support pioneering brands and organisations in Academia, Future Tech and the Sustainable Blue Economy.Ben’s background in both creative and client-side roles gives him a unique perspective when it comes to understanding what his clients need from their creative team. He goes above and beyond to make sure he truly gets their business, their culture and and what they want to achieve.
