Project Scientist
Current-Designs, Tests, Implements, and Maintains internal electronic systems using Smartsheet and other softwares for the Cincinnati and Milford Sites-Forecasts out analytical testing months in advance to assign and schedule instrumentation and personnel -Performs analytical method and instrument troubleshooting for complex problems outside the scope of Junior analysts -Designs and Executed OOS/OOT investigations for complex problems with no known root cause-Develops training programs for junior analysts on laboratory/analytical techniques, cGxP practices, advanced microsoft office skills, and various laboratory softwares-Updates and Authors SOPs as needed to accommodate newly developed electronic quality systems-Collaborates with multiple departments and clients to improve electronic systems and analytical methods-Trains other departments and clients on electronic systems to ensure understanding of system capabilities -Performs 5S activities within the QC Labs, creates and maintains electronic systems to that end-Performs data collection from electronic and legacy systems to analyze trends in analysis throughput, analysis failure rates and modes of failure, analyst usage of electronic systems, and other various metrics-Assisted in the selection of vendor for ELN/LIMS as the primary Cincinnati site representative -Assists in the business proposals, design, and implementation of ELN/LIMS-Adapts data from legacy paper systems into usable electronic formats -Serves as one of 7 members on the Nitto North America DEIB Steering committee
