Project: Majnoon Oil FieldClient: Basrah Oil Company (BOC)Accountable for KBR’s contracts & procurement (C&P) delivery of approximately USD 1.8 Billion portfolio as EPCM contractor to Basra Oil Company in the award and contract management of EPC, construction, consultancy and site contracts, and the procurement of equipment and materials. The Majnoon Growth Project aims to increase production at the Majnoon Oil Field to 450,000 barrels per day. Reporting to the Project and Deputy Director as part of the senior leadership team, key contributions include:• Recruiting and managing the project C&P team consisting of approximately 40 staff split between the United Arab Emirates (Core Team) and Iraq (Site Team).• Leading C&P interface to client, ministerial and internal senior management stakeholders on the project.• Overseeing and managing the tendering, negotiations and awards of major multi-million dollar contracts including several EPCs for Central Production Facility; Sour Gas Treatment Facility; Central Power Plant; and EPC Pipelines.• Drafted and implemented C&P strategies, plans, procedures and drafting of contracts to deliver overall Majnoon Growth C&P requirements.

Project: Qatar Expressway ProgrammeClient: Public Works Authority (ASHGHAL)The Qatar Expressway Programme is the world’s largest highway construction and infrastructure programme with 59 major expressway projects in the design, procurement and construction stages. Accountable for the commercial management of KBR’s Programme Management Services prime contract with Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal). Reporting to the Programme Director, key contributions include:• Oversaw and managed significant multi-million dollar extension to prime contract with Ashghal addressing contract drafting, negotiation, commercial profitability and risk.• Influenced the development and administration of strategies, procedures and drafting contracts to align with shifting project demands and the execution of change orders.• Forged collaborative relationships with geographically remote stakeholders to ensure resources and expertise are made available to safely deliver contractual obligations. • Proactively developing effective mitigation strategies to avoid contractual disputes and claims and to expedite the swift resolution of issues as soon as they arise.

Project: GES+ ProjectsClient: Saudi AramcoDriven to experience new working cultures in unfamiliar settings, eagerly accepted an opportunity to join the KBR-AMCDE JV in Al Khobar, 1 of 4 JVs awarded the Saudi Aramco GES+ framework agreement, a USD $20 billion engineering and project consultancy programme.Services included front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, material procurement and project management services for capital programmes across Saudi Arabia. As the youngest member of the Joint Venture management team, key contributions included: • Recruited, trained and managed a new dedicated Subcontracts and Procurement Department consisting of 14 personnel including Saudi national employees.• Planned, issued for tender and executed 100+ international contracts for services and materials including the drafting of contractual documents and commercial correspondence.• Identified and communicated all contract requirements and approved appropriate flow downs for purchase orders and subcontracts.• Implemented an end-to-end E-Procurement System to drive greater efficiencies and transparency throughout the contracting process.• Produced and submitted weekly status reports for executive and senior level managers in Saudi Arabia and London.

Project: Jazan Refinery & Marine Terminal ProjectClient: Aramco Overseas CompanyReported to KBR’s Project Procurement Manager in a London-based role. Responsible for sourcing and executing all “Out-of-Kingdom” subcontracts on behalf of Aramco Overseas Company. Key accountabilities included:• Managed all aspects of pre-and-post award contract management from prequalification to close out.• Calculated +/-10% estimates using Bid-Based methodology to enable the estimating group to track forecast project costs during the FEED stage.• Drafted ITTs, bid clarification minutes and negotiation plans, subcontracts and project confidentiality agreements.• Reviewed and monitored subcontractor performance to ensure contract compliance, commercial integrity and timely service delivery.
