Mangement and implementation of the appraisal process to set staff objectives and manage performance. Budget management of annual value of £1,117k, of this £850k variable contract spend the balance is fixed cost. Ensuring all customer contacts (input, feedback, complaints) were responded to, and dealt with, within defined standards, and that satisfactory conclusions were reached. Responsibile for a Contract management and monitoring system, to gauge contractor performance. Providing senior technical support to tree officers on all tree related matters, and presentation to council members, or the public, or acting for the council, as an expert witness in court, regarding tree failure and subsidence matters.
