• Day to day running of the A&E CT service and every Tuesday running the IP & OP service at the Royal London Hospital• Secondments to Bart’s hospital when needed and most recently to Newham General for 6 weeks • Protocol CT scans• Updating protocols with radiologists• Compile training rota’s and ensure all staff working in CT are competent• Run the IV cannulation course and keep the database updated• Stock ordering for the whole department – proficient in oracle and NHS direct• Compile breach reports for A&E patients who have breached A&E wait times due to CT• Compile concise reports for various incidents• MAPS trained and once a week fulfilling the ‘duty superintendent’ role recording all sickness and organising the day to day service for imaging• To safely use the mobile CT scanner on ITU• Apprise four band 6 staff• Conduct interviews• Giving regular CPD talks on CT scanning techniques and case studies• Involved in installing new CT scanners• CT scanning for forensics• Ensure stat/mand training is 100% for myself and my appraisal staff• To work to IRR99 and IR(ME)R2000• Recording return to work interviews• Investigating SI’s
