This has been performed as part of many corporate health events delivered to large businesses including National Rail, Siemens and the British Antarctic Survey.At these health events I have also delivered fitness classes, mostly involving resistance bands and body weight exercises. Then idea of these is to equip the individuals with he knowledge of how to keep fit and healthy without having to join a commercial gym while not needing a large space to do so. I have also developed a health, fitness  and ski website many years back. This site includes video guides to ski specific fitness exercises, video workouts, extensive training programs for all levels of skiers and injury prevention advice from an Olympic athlete. This role had the added challenges of 2 once in a life time geo-political events during my first year in charge. One being the Covid pandemic, which greatly limited the influence of tourism which supplies the work for my team. The other being Brexit, which cut my team, approximately from 50 down to 20, due to UK citizens losing the right to work in Europe. This meant I had to find new Instructors from across Europe and the globe to rebuild the team to its previous size.Responsibilities and duties of a Director role and ski instructor with European Snowsport areTo:- provide fun, exciting and safe ski lessons which promote a feeling of receiving excellent valuehandle and juggle multiple responsibilities at once i.e. managing other instructors while also delivering my own lessons- deliver highly competent teaching skills which develop learners of all abilities,- working with and managing a team of professionals, enabling them to deliver a stimulating and enjoyable session to the best of their ability.- holding weekly team meetings- dealing with large amounts of administration and office duties- deal with the demand and needs of our ski school’s clients,-delivering lessons to large groups of clients- make judgements on whether the conditions allow for lessons to be performed safely on the mountains. e.g. can lessons be run if there is a storm.- handling clients expectations and resolving any complaints they may have- building a fun and productive working environment for my team- organising team building and staff events- administration in the office, e.g. organising groups lessons so clients are in equal ability groups, record keeping of kids ability levels, special needs, organising equipment that needs to be sent out to the slopes etc.- being extremely safety conscious (working in a extreme environment)- concierge duties, arranging lunch on mountain restaurants weeks in advance, airport transfers, down time activities e.g. sports massage etc. Show less
