Worked as Product Marketing Coordinator within Product Management for the UK market leader in style, innovation and customer service for disabled showers, accessible bathrooms and kitchens. The main responsibly is to be the key coordinator between all product managers within the product management department, so that all new products stay to plan and are delivered in an efficient and timely manner.• Further responsibility includes the daily management of the part take on process which involves the completion of product categorisation, allocation of part numbers/descriptions and activation of parts onto Clientele.• Analysing new product request forms and informing product directors of those products that are required for the business.• Completing competitor analysis and understanding the industry to highlight new products and emerging market opportunities, so that strategic decisions can be made on the direction of the business.• Preparing Sales and Marketing briefs for executive directors, when releasing a new product.• Working alongside Senior Global Product Manager, EU Product Manager, multiple Design Engineers, Production Admin Manager and Quality Manager reviewing design specifications, Non Conformity Reports, product quality, test samples and planning for launch events. • Partake in regular New Product Development and Product Process meetings to devise progress plans and resolve underlying issues.

Responsibility included setting up or identifying new products to add to the extensive range of current products. Cooperate with the marketing team to determine the benefits of the product to the consumer. Identify product improvements and cost efficiencies. Review category performance, future opportunities and identify consumer needs. Complete competitor updates and manage the products from cradle to grave through managing the life cycle of products. Set individual product pricing and manage margin. Work collaboratively with key stakeholder – Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to enable the timely delivery of all projects.

As part of my marketing degree I participated in a 14 month placement as Sales Operations Intern for Bosch Thermotechnology at their headquarters in Worcester, UK. The role was very varied and hands on with me taking part in sales strategy, marketing, customer relationship management (SAP), telephone enquiries and many more areas of sales and marketing helping the company to improve on annual sales turnover and I managed to put many of the skills learnt at university into practice. Further to this, through the use of Leader CIP I was able to present any ideas for internal improvement on a monthly basis, some of which were accepted and are now used in practice.
